Just made my own purees!

Am really pleased just spent the morning making my own purees for Lily...didn't realise how much they would make though so have ran out of pots and have had to order more! Have done Sweet Potato and Apple and Pear....can't wait to do more!

Its fun isnt it. I made pretty much all of Chloes food when she was weaned. Only used jars when we were out. Im defo doing the same for Tamzin when she is old enough( 11 weeks tomorrow)

It gives you a buzz knowing you made what their gonna eat.

do u put them in ice cube trays and freeze them? and mix and match each day? is just what health visitor said that most people do.i cant wait til millie is old enough to try food!! maybe i'll end up trying new foods lol xx

Hi. I spent last thursday doing the same and it is great. We have potato, carrot and parsnip, although like you ran out of pots.
I used an ice cube tray but Nathan eats so much I think he'll need 4 cubes at least at a time, so I also used tommee tippee food pots and some individual size jelly moulds!!
He has Parsnip and potato today and loved it. I'm really looking forward to trying some green veg out on him in the next couple of weeks.
