Hi, my son is also on Gaviscon, it means two sachets, up to six times a day. The instructions assume that maximum number of bottles a day would be 6, i.e one every four hours. Basically at that weight you need to be putting two sachets in every bottle, whether she has 4, 5 or 6 bottles in 24hours. My son is now 17weeks and 16lbs and is now having 4 bottles each day and we put two sachets in each, and have been since he was about 10weeks old. It has definately helped enormously, along with Ranitidine for the burning he was getting from silent reflux. Hope things settle for you as well.

Not sure why there seems to be different rules as I had not trouble getting Ranitidine from my doctor. Very odd how the health service works!! He does still have moments, but its a vast improvement on screaming through every bottle!! haha

yes one "dual" sachet per feed!! i work in a dispensary at a gp surgery and the gps don't know much about things like that, they just ask us to confirm so you're better of checking with a pharmacist another time!!! x x x
