...Being a mummy

After all the very "heated discusions" we've had on here recently I just thought I'd lighten the mood and say how much I'm loving being mum. I never thought I'd love it a much as I do but every morning when I wake up and look into Niamh's cot I get the biggest smile and it literally melts my heart.

I think mornings and 'just before bedtime' are my very bits of the day coz it's when she's at her giggliest. A bit soppy I know but thought we needed a change of mood :\)

What's your favourite bit of the day?

My fav bit is when i go get him up at 7 am, i love that he wakes up with a smile. He is so giggly and cute.

i also love 6pm thats when we start his bedtime routine- we have half an hour family play time, then me or oh baths him, then we get him ready for bed, he is so much fun at this time- he loves it just as much as we do

Bedtimes for us are a bit of a nightmare! He's so tired by that point he's a bit grizzley and fed up but he loves his bath.
I love it when he wakes up in the morning and I go in and he's so excited to see me! I get the biggest smile and he rolls around like a nutter lol.

I love the mornings too. After Kyra wakes up she comes into our bed along with Evie and we all have our morning drinks together, the girls have their milk and me and oh have our tea. It must look so funny with 4 of us in the bed!! xx

The two hours after his first feed of the day. First he lies in bed with his dad while I have a bath and watching my two men lying there together, both looking gorgeous always gets me. Then, once he is up and dressed, he sits in his chair while I have breakfast. He is just starting to notice the toy bar and he has a lovely time playing with it. Watching him learn and develop his skills each day is a sheer joy!

I love the time just before i start Lea's bedtime routine!
This is when we play together for quite a bit and just basically be silly! I chase after her and she loves being thrown around(not in a horrible way)!
She gets so excited. I also love bath time because she loves it so much and literally splashes all of the water out if the tub. I think the best bit though is just seeing how innocent they are and how the littlest things they do can make you so happy! xx

Awwww what a lovely topic

My fave time of day is between 5 and 6pm when Daddy comes home from work. The boys are so excited to see him, and i love seeing the happy look on my OH's face when he finally gets to say hello to us all. He leaves so early in the mornings that we are all still fast asleep, so its the first time he gets proper kisses from us. xxx

l love Summers bathtime. My hubby always baths her but l asist them Lol. She loves splashing about and laughing and giggling.
l also love waking up in morning with her laughing and shouting mamma and dadda.
l absolutly love being amummy, no one can explain or prepare how you will feel wen you have your baby.
Such a lovely topic btw.

awww this is lovely...i love the first thing in the morning where she has a bottle ion bed with me then we snooze for an hour and just have a cuddle... its the only time of day i get a cuddle now and its sooo fab..and my fave time of day will be wednesday tea time when daddy gets home as she hasnt seen him for 4 weeks and in that time shes rolled over, got two teeth and started pulling herself onto things... xxx

MooChew I love cuddles in "the big girl bed" after 1st bottle too, it's such a lovely time
