when going out and about around dinner time (say within an hour) heat up their wee dinner in the micro and wrap it in a nappy (clean one lol) it ats as a thermos so when it is time for their wee munch it will still be warm xx

I would heat a bottle and leave it in an insulated bag at the side of the bed so it was warm when dd woke. I also used the inulated bag to take hot bottles out with me. I found few places o heat bottles out and about.

I had an October baby and would sleep in jogging bottoms and a t shirt so I wouldn't be cold when I got up. Wore same in the day so I could sleep but was dressed if anyone called round.

I agree with the muslins they are just fab, also with the spare outfit in the change bag and accept all offers of practical help. I can't say I was offered much but if someone had offered to cook my tea i wouldn't have jumped at the chance.

when you go shopping at the major super markets they give you a free nappy and some wipes to use if you need them. ask at customer services.

ive also found out this week that at asda (not sure if the others do it) if you spend ??????1 in the cafe, theyll give you a jar of baby food!!!
