Ear ache?

Lily has been pulling and scratching her left ear for a day or two now, it is quite red and she has a small cut at the top- I think perhaps from her scratching?Just now I have noticed a few small scabby dots of blood inside her ear. It smells a little bit but I don't know if this is normal.She seems fine in herself. What should I do?Can't get through to docs atm....

hmm... i can only reccomend you keep trying your gp's and see if you can get an appointment for today or tomorrow! hopefully it's not an ear infection, but if it is it'll be best to get antibiotics sooner rather than later XX

Try putting a few drops of warm oil in her ear then put a bit of cotton wool in over night. It may well be a blockage and the oil should shift it.
Use extra virgin olive oil or grapeseed oil if you have any.

jack does this all the time, i took him to the doctors the other week about his cold and they checked his ears and said everything was fine. someone told me they can grab their ears alot when they are teething, don't know if that's right or not. it is probably best just to get her checked out to be on the safe side.

Awwwwwwwww bless her. Gracie faye has been rubbing her ears a lot and is teething too!

Hope she feels better soon xx
