Hi just quick quesstion.
Our boy sleeps in his cot and moves about a bit in night and he hits his head on the bars sometimes and this causes him to get upset. I assume all babies have this sort of problem. How did you solve it if you did?

I have a bumper all around the cot so Beth doesnt hit her head. We also have teddys around the edge so she rarely gets that close. I guess some babies are just too active tho and there isnt much you can do. Sorry for the useless advice!

I haven't had that problem yet but i would say cot bumpers around the sides should do the trick.

Hi hun,

l also have a very fidgety baby. She was like this from very young, and shes still like it now at 18 months. We have a bumper at the top, l no hv dont reccomend them but we have never had any probs. Just make sure its secure and push it right down so the mattress is right aganst it.

I don't have a cot yet as wanted to get all the use out of our crib first but Jack is also very active at night and pushes himself up to the top. We also use a bumper around it and it stops him hurting himself xx

Thanks all for your advice.
I do have bumper at top and it is basically being used as decoration at moment. As i thought it may be dangerous to put it around. Would tose of you who use bumpers think it dangerous?! xx

I've been using one since Jack was born and I don't think it's dangerous to have it on as long as it's tightly secured and pushed right up against the bars xx

HI,

we had one on chloe's cot from when she went in it at 12wks til when it was lowered at around 9mths. chloe is now a strapping 21mth old so although there may be some advice it is dangerous, it's like a lot of things and just use some common sense. just make sure it is tucked inside between the matress and the bars and the ties are really secure and all should be fine.
