Now that it's gotten so cold I'm trying to wrap my little girlie as warm as possible, but I never know what to put her in - what do you put your LO's in, to keep them warm?

Today I had her in a long sleeved vest, sleepsuit then a pair of pyjama bottoms with feet and a cardigan, and she was nice and warm, but it looked awfully odd! She's 11 weeks and I'd usually put her in a little outfit during the day but feel I can't find anything that looks nice but is still snug for her.

Any ideas?!

Lol Poppy was wearing a vest with tights underneath, a long sleeved baby gro style outfit (with a frilly bum, so cute), a chunky cardi, slippers and at one point mittens!! I tend to put tights under things as it keeps them nice and snug. xxx

Ethan is living in his ASBO suits - tracksuits with hoodie tops with a l/s vest under. If very cold, plain white sleepsuit under the trackies, with socks over. I'm trying to keep him warm as he has a chest infection.

Megan has been wearing trousers like wee cords (elastocated wasit no button) with a long sleeve vest and long sleeve top over then a cardigan and socks but sometimes tights under the gtroushers as she loves to kick her socks off now (and shoes if i put them on) but we havent been going out anywhere

Hiya hon,how are you doing? Other than cold?!
I tend to find Erin is warm enough with her normal outfits with tights underneath and a chunky cardy on top.

And the heating on all day and night! xx

katie's been wearing trousers, tights underneath, long sleeve vest, long sleeve vest and a cardy... tbh at times she's been too warm but then we live in a new build house which is warm... still 17 - 18 degrees at 3 or 4 am... no heating!!

Theo wears, vest, long sleeved top and jeans.
When we go out I put him in a snowsuit and hat and blanket or two...!!
Heating is on at home all day and set on timer for some of the night too.

I tend to layer my LO up - tights and leggings and socks, and trousers if we're going out. With a vest, a long sleeved polo neck and a long sleeved top, plus a cardi.

I just dress her normally at home, although I layer a bit more if it feels cooler with a cardi - I also got some lovely fluffy slipper sox from Mothercare this week and so often put these on her and she looks so snug just by wearing them! lol. When we go out she has a fur lined coat, blanket, fleece pram lining and I keep the hood up and cover on to keep the draught off her xx

Thanks for the useful comments everyone! I hadn't thought of tights under an outfit - that's a good idea and is what I've now put Sophie in this morning!

I'll have a look for the fleecey babygrows from Gap Helen - thanks!

Hi Lucy! I'm doing well thanks, Sophie is being a very good girl at the moment, lovely and smiley and sleeping like a dream!! Makes for a very happy mummy. Started Christmas shopping for a few bits for her in the past few days which has made me super excited about her first Christmas; not that she'll have a clue but that's not the point! How are things with you guys?

I've had Sophie in that lovely cardigan you got her quite a bit whilst out recently, and I've had so many comments about how lovely it is! Thank you again, the other outfit is proving very popular too, lovely and cosy for her xx

I use layers as well, i usually put dd in lined dungarees with a long sleeved vest, tights and a woolly cardigan on top. I also got a pair of cheap slippers from tesco that have non-slip soles. Now Emily is cruising i find they are great and she is less interested in pulling them off now!
