My 16 month old son ate u tin of vaseline tonight.

You know the little ones for your lips? When i was feeding my 10wk old, he took it out my bag and at the content. Vaseline everywhere!!

He seems happy enough and ate his t. Should i be worried????

think it should be ok else you wouldnt be able to use it near ur mouth but give nhs 24 a call thats what they are there for and it will put your mind at rest... its amazing what they will eat eh?and there you are standing for hours making delicious healthy food and they turn their noses up lol babies are strange lol

Sorry I am gatecrashing but just had to comment....what a little rascal! Hehe! I remember being little and eating cat food!!!

I am sure he will be fine hun but maybe give NHS direct a call, just in case? xxxxx

Thanks for ur replies. Well he seems perfectly fine. He hasnt been sick or anything. But his poo this morning was absolutley disgusting!! Yuk...Made me gag!

He's such a little monster...i still cant believe he ate my vaseline!! haha! xxx

One of those bizzarre things children do. Netmums have an online 'clinic' with lots of posts about children eating things ranging from petfood to sudocrem to mud, generally the end advice is always the same LO may end up with upset tum for a couple of days, if there is any violent reactions (severe vomiting/breathlessness/severe diaorrhea) then take to A&E with sample of what they've eaten.
