4 month old waking early

I know this is minor problem, and I've probably just been spoilt for the last couple of months, but I love my sleep!

Since about 8wks, lo has gone to bed about 7.30/8pm after bottle/bath/massage routine, she generally goes down easily and self settles. She then wakes between 3-4am for a feed and was waking about 8am. The last couple of days she has started waking at 6.30, she's not hungry as she only takes a couple of oz if anything, and by 7.30 she's yawning and wants to go back to bed, but by then I'm up and awake(ish!).

Is there anything I can do? Is it just a phase? Or have I just been spoilt for the last couple of months, and just have to go to bed earlier? I have a horrible feeling it's going to be the last one!

Thanks,
Elf x

Think it's the light mornings. My LO (8months) always slept til 7.30am but since it started getting lighter and lighter she wakes earlier and earlier. She still has a bottle at 7.30ish though so she isn't waking for food, she's just wide awake wanting to play. Usually I get her into bed with us and try to snuggle her back to sleep, it's not always successful but if we have nothing planned I'll snooze with her when she is ready for her nap again at 8am . Bring on winter!! x

Thanks guys, never thought it might be the light Ibeth87. She been a bit better the last couple of days, and I've found if I leave her (normally happily playing with her toes - a new discovery!) she falls back to sleep in half an hour. Like you xxHannahxx, I find it difficult to go to bed early, so very early mornings are a killer!

Don't worry, it's probably confusion with the lighter mornings and evenings. My 18mth old decided it was a good idea to get up at 5.25 this morning as the sun was beaming in. We've been yawning away ever since and I'm still waiting for her to give in to a nap (sure it won't be much longer). The heat also isn't helping, our home is east facing so second sun is up it becomes a sauna.
