Third birthday

I'm 3!

By the time your little one is 3, she’ll probably have an idea in her mind of what she’d like her party to be like, so you might want to think about hiring a themed entertainer. ‘3-year-olds will be able to comprehend games so fun activities like musical statues are ideal,’ says Maddy from Dreamcatcher. ‘With a bit of help from other grown ups you can play games like pass the parcel, but make sure you have a few treats at the end for children who have missed out on a prize!’
‘Your little guests will probably need their parents close by to feel confident enough to join in, so set up a clear seating area nearby for the adults.’

It will depend on your budget & how many guests.

Many indoor play centres will organise children's parties but the price per head can mount up.

A party at home can work just as well (our hire out a hall for larger groups) with a buffet selection & games (musical statues/musical bumps/pass the parcel/treasure hunt/pin the tail).

A three year olds birthday party can still be relatively simple at this age. Little toddlers love the simple stuff like cake, some music, some games and that's all that is really needed! Choose a theme to make it easier if you like. A great one for both boys and girls is farmyard party - kids this age love animals and learning what animal goes 'MOOO'!
