Don't know how you all feel about 2nd hand stuff but there is a great site called Freecycle. You register for your local area and I get about 80 emails a day from people offering things for free or wanting things. I've had a really good tv, dining table and chairs and loads of little bits and pieces from it. There's loads of kids stuff given away all the time.

Yes yes and yes! Not earning enough to cover outgoings ATM and that's not fancy holidays or clothes just bills and value food, have debts that we can only afford to pay off interest so never going to be rid of them, a house that's falling apart and can't fix for lack of money or sell because well still be in sooooooo much debt it's not going to save us. Bankruptcy is looking more probable by the day and its stressing us beyond belief we can't tighten our belts any more even if we tried! Grrr!

Hiya I have posted separately well basically we have just got married and are getting over the expense of that it was touch and go as go whether we would make it down the aisle due to work and hub being self employed extreme lack of work. During the last two years we also bought our first home we bought when prices were high and are stuck with a mortgage of 560 a month thats not without bills, debt and a loan of 300 per month to pay. When hub is in work we are fine but for last 6 months hes been in and out of work and thats meant a strain on our finances.

So basically he now wants us to save before we have a baby I dont know how we will afford it but I dont want to put off having a baby and waiting to be financially stable because that might never happen.

I shouldnt really be stressing out 5 weeks after we have just got married but we have had a bumpy start in life just got to hope that things can on get better x

If you tell all your debt companies of your situation they will all help you out if, its low income no jobs or lack of work reasons. You dont need to do bankruptcy, as even if you speak to the citzean advice they will tell you. that you can offer all companies a minimums payment of a £1 a month & they have to accept this. I had rang my debts & just my barcley card who wanted £30 a month said i could pay £15 a month with out effecting my credit report & they even stopped the intrest. All companies are actually there to help, dont be scared to talk to them. As my outgoings for just debt alone not house bills are around £400 i have opted to used greg penningtons debt management plan i now pay one payment to them of £!50 and they pay smaller payment to my bills All intrest has been stopped & my bills will be cleared in 5 years. If i did not use them i will probably have debts my whole life.

I have debts & a baby due next week I am not struggling at all as due to past mistakes i now spend my money wisely & no what not to waste money on. I could live off really food including vegs for just £12 a week. I tought myself well.
