has anyone tried this? Basically it is learning to read your baby's signals that they need to wee or poo and then responding by taking them to a potty / holding them over it then giving them a vocal signal to go (e.g. shhhh). It can mean your baby is out of nappies by 6 months apparently! It sounds like a good idea because it's easier for babies to pick up than trying to teach toddlers to unlearn behaviour (i.e. going in their nappy) but not sure how practical it is, especially when you're out or if you leave your baby with someone else who won't know the signals.

any thoughts?
