Subject : BBC1 documentary - BABYEXPERT APPROVED REQUEST
Hi everyone,
This post is moderator approved and supported by the Babyexpert team, so please do consider getting in touch if you have a relevnt story or experience to share...
Scarlet Television is making a serious and thought-provoking documentary for BBC1 about the journey parents take when raising a disabled child. In this film, families will discuss the hurdles they encounter, the support available to current and expectant parents of disabled children, and the inspiration and despair they may have experienced whilst caring for their child.
We are keen to hear families’ personal stories, from the very first moment of discovery to the time of letting go or sharing responsibility with others:
Have you have decided to continue with a high risk pregnancy and your due date is in the next few months?
Are you struggling to get the help you need to look after your child with special needs?
We would like to speak to parents who might be prepared to share their views and experiences at this time, in order to throw more light on this very important subject and to get people talking about it.
If you would like to find out more you can talk in complete confidence to Kerry or Kimberly on 0161 200 5370 or email:

Many thanks!
