Subject : smelly nappies
Some of our cloth is starting to smell, I think they were particularly wet/dirty.... They aren't bad but I get a faint whiff of amonia if I sniff!
They're washed with Fairy non-bio and no conditioner obviously.... I can't remember but does white vinegar help?
TIA xx

Hi, as far as I'm aware white vinegar is to help get stains out, I don't think it helps directly with smells. I have started to put my days worth of nappies through a rinse cycle then back in the bucket as I wash every other day.

Hi there
Not sure if you still need advice on this or not but the best thing to get the smell out of the nappies is to use a spoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda and a few drops of an essential oil like Tea Tree for example as it is also a natural antiseptic too.
This worked for us when we had smelly nappies so I hope it works well for you too!
