LOL Roisine, that's good to hear. I am hoping for a similar scenario. I am now in my 2ww and am quite excited about it all even though my chances are so very low.
Good luck to you too hun, love bluebird xxxx

Awww, pants. My smiley face was a false hope as blood tests have shown that i did not ovulate after all so i suppose it has turned my smiley face into a sad face! Fertility specialist has told me that i have less than 1% chance of getting a bfp now and a 60% chance of miscarrying if i do! How cheerful! Still, i turned 48 on Tuesday this week and i am determined not to give up until i reach menopause or 50, whichever comes first. Just wish af would come so that i can have fsh bloods done again and start thinking about ttc again. What a game this is!!! Anyone know of anyone who fell naturally aged 48 or above?? I dont want donor eggs so that only leaves naturally!!!
lots of love, bluebird xxxx

Hi Roisine. I am so sorry to hear about your mc hun, that must be devastating for you (((((hugs)))) Really hope that they can help you soon so that you can keep your little one next time.
Fertility clinic said there was nothing they could do for me apart from ivf with donor eggs. They did say they would test another cycle for me but i am now day 90 and no sign. Menopausal symptoms are increasing so i think it is all over for me now :-(
Please do keep in touch, hope you are feeling a little bit better. Did you have your blood results yet?
Take good care, lots of love, bluebird xxxx

Hi roisine, sorry for not being in touch before now and your lovely post really meant a lot to me so thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind and supportive words.
Sadly, still no sign of af here and i am now on day 122 so not very hopeful. i have been having acupuncture for a couple of months now which has helped with the menopausal symptoms but no af :-( However, i did one of those poas fsh tests today that i bought from ebay and it was negative! I was so surprised. I expected it to be positive but the result states that i am not perimenopausal for this cycle!!! Dont really quite know what to think, the company said yu can test on any day and its ideal for women with irregular cycles and over 30. It certainly cheered me up and i have told oh that more bding will be the order of the day because we have got a bit lapse recently.
Really pleased your bloods are all normal, how are you feeling now? Hope you are feeling better. What stage are you at now? Keeping my fingers crossed that a sticky bean comes your way very soon.
Please do keep in touch and take good care.
lots of love, bluebird xxxx

My name is Sophie and I work for a London based television production company called Renegade Pictures.
We are currently producing a 1 hour authored documentary on pregnancy for the BBC, featuring Cherry Healey. In the film Cherry will meet seven other pregnant women at seven different ages and stages of pregnancy. Through their personal stories and experiences we hope to discover more about the changing trends in conception, pregnancy, birth and early motherhood across women of all ages in the UK.
It is thought that the number of women giving birth over the age of 40 has
doubled in 10 years, and I feel that to illustrate this well it would be
fantastic for Cherry to meet someone close to the age of 40 or over who has become pregnant, either naturally or through a donor egg or insemination.
If there is anyone who would be willing to share their experience with
Cherry or is interested to find out more about the documentary I would love the opportunity to speak to you confidentially.
Please contact me at sophie.mohamedl@renegadepictures.co.uk or 0207 449 3228
Kind regards
Sophie
