Subject : TTC ...any tips?

Hi everyone i am new to this site, I am 21 and am newly married (5 mo.) this is actually my second marriage with my first marriage i got married straight out of highschool and automatically started trying to get pregnant! My first husband and I kind of tryed for a little over a year (the whole time we were married) we just kind of i guess more went with the flow if it happened it happened kind of thing more then trying i guess but anyways it never happend which in all honestness ended up being for the best since we didnt work out but now i am remarried to a wonderful man and we have decided that we really want a baby and just feel its at the right time in our life. so i have started taking prenatial vitamans and eating better...I am just worried it will take a long time since with my first marriage we never pervented it and it never happend...at first i told myself maybe it was not me it was my ex husband but now he and his girlfriend our expecting so evidently it wasnt him! I was just wondering if anyone might have any pointers for me that has already Conceived Or if your trying yourself! Thank you

Hi, firstly can I say my sister and her ex were together 7 years and never took any precautions. After the broke up she got pregnant within months, and his new partner did, so it just shows you that sometimes its just not meant to be, some people aren't compatible. So don't lose hope. Plus there is nothing the medical people can do anyway until you have been trying for one year with your new partner.
Don't know if you already do this, but do you keep a diary of your cycles? And do you know about ovulation etc.etc.
Probably silly qustion cos you might but you usually ovulate 14 days before the first day you come on thats if you have a normal 28 day cycle. Ebay sell ovulation kits which you take from around day 10 until you get a positive ovulation test. The best time to ttc is from around day 10 to day 15-16 as you can't get pregnant after you've ovulated. Theres a few things you can do to increase conceiving have a look on this site and others. x
