Hi mine will be 20 months when this one is born and I am definantly getting a double buggy because most times I go out I am alone and I think i'd find it stressful with a very young walker and newborn. Some double buggies go up to 4. not sure what your budget is cos I wana spend quite a bit on mine so its good quality. But go on argos / babies r us / mothercare and just look through them all and see what one suits you best. Maybe if you want aswell you could get one of them buggy boards that ur LO stands on whilst out. I just worry incase my eldest wants a nap when out, or gets tired etc thats why Iv decided to get a double buggy think I'm getting the new mclaren not sure yet x

Mine is going to be 17-18mths when my next one arrives, so i've got a side by side double buggy coming today i think its an O Baby too my friend is giving me hers for £40 and its slim enough to get thru a standard door too so i'm pleased.

Hello Taz1982. I didn't realise we will have babies of the same age. I am also on Baby due April 09.
I have a phil and teds sport. It is pricy but no bigger then a single pushchiar. I couldn't cope with a side by side. I have to walk everywhere and shops are just not designed for single pushchairs let alone side by sides.

first wheels elite is too wide for me doesnt fit in black cabs or standard house/shop doors. x

Hi Kerry! no i didn't realise either! my 2nd DD was born on the 20th!
Well i bought the O Baby double from my friend i just hope LO will be okay in it cos it reclines up about 45 degrees and i know a newborn is supposed to lie flat really, but saying that her lil man didn't have any probs and hes nearly a year old now! so not really sure cos i really can't afford to buy another especially as she gave to me for £40! what do ya reckon? cos it was advertised as being suitable from NB or so she was told and i've been told! *confused*

My DD was born on the 19th she was due the 20th. On oh birthday,
I got the Phil and Teds coz I walk everywhere and need to be able to shop easily. Also thinking that by the time baby is in the second seat DD will be walking most of the journey (fat chance as she hasn't even taken her first idependent steps yet) Plus I don't actually know a child who has had any problems being in the back seat. And I love the way it feels when I push it and I can take it off road for cross country walks etc.

Some of the OBaby ones are suitable from birth and some arent your best typing the model name in google and double checking.
I think I am getting the ICandy or McLaren. Looked at the phil and ted and my lo who will be 20 months wouldnt want to sit in the back seat, its too low down for him and he cant really see properly out of it. the mclaren easily fits through doorways, buses, black taxis etc. and is ded nice so no prob for me, or the ICandy just not sure yet. x
