Subject : way TMI but need some help updated!!

I will say sorry in advance for the information but I have got myself into a right tiz and am frightened to go to the docs!! I wasnt sure which forum to write in.

Here goes ... .... ..... ...... ....... ........ I have recently given birth to my 2nd daughter andI now have a problem with my lady bits!! Its almost as if a bit is hanging out and when i walk it gets sore, i looked into a mirror last night whist i was perched on a chair and everything look fine but as soon as i stand up it feels as if things move down!! Its the bit that normally closes the entrance to the lady bits the sort of roundy bit. Im really worried that if i go to the docs that there will be nothing they can do or will just think i am being stupid but it defo hangs down and it is really really uncomfy.
can someone please tell me if they have had this problem or if they know of anyone who has and what can be done to put it right or just slap me round the face and send me to the docs im hypoventilating now sorry!!

Thanks x x x

Just to let you know i have butten the bullet and gon to the docs i have a slight prolaps, i have to keep doing pelvic floor excersises then have to go back on the 6th of march and if its still the same ive got to have an op to sort it out!!

Hey
It sounds sim to what my sister had after her son, now almost 4.She felt something wasnt right but was too embarrassed to discuss it with her doctor or HV until last year!! She had a prolapse of some kind (sorry for the lack of details) which was easily sorted, and i know she regrets not talking to someone sooner. Her 'Mary' is back to is former glory now and and brags about her designer vagina.
Not saying its the same thing, just reckon it might me easier to show another doc your bits sooner rather than later,
x

If you are in pain and are really sore and feel things aren't right you need to go to your GP. Being that its your second child obviously things perhaps take a little longer to go back to normal but you shouldn't be embarassed to go to your GP and I am sure they won't think you are stupid.
Good luck and I am sure everything will be ok

hi after my 3rd baby i felt a bit like what you are describing, when i walked it felt like my insides where dropping out, but they werent it was just part and parcel of the whole giving birth experience, i am sure its nothing to worry about but tlike the otheres ssaid the only way to sort it out is to go and let your gp have a look or are you still seeing your mw? dont panic xx

hey, it could be one of 2 things, it could be a prolapse, or it could just be due to giving birth, dont forget that everything id way stretched down there and sometimes it can take a while to get back to its former self. the bit that ur describing is very close if not right at the opening to ur vagina so it wud (if very loose from birth) be very easy to hang out and for u to see. if it was a prolapse, they only way i can describe it is it wud look like intestine tissue coming out of ur vagina, also if u lay on ur bed looking into a mirror and push as if you were doing a no 2, u wud be able to clearly see ur inside vaginal wall etc protuding out of the opening when u pushed. i wud say try doing that to see if it happens, if it dosnt then i wud say things are just abit loose down there and mabey try to do some pelvic floor excersises everyday to see if that helps tighten things up.
hth atleast abit!xxxx
