my daughter loved chris and poi and keeps on asking were they'v gone and i keep on tellin her they've gone to see thier daddy n mummy jus d same way we go to see her dads, mummy and daddy (grand parents) in nigeria on holiday.
she misses them so much, she prefers watching nickjnr now.
its so sad they should have explained to the kids they were going n not cumin back cos bri tells me we'll watch cbeebies again when they come back from thier holiday.

also she loves jungle conga as well n i'v got it in my head cos we sing it anytime we r getting ready to leave the house.

my 3 and a half year old watched it and i was expecting him to ask but he didn't even notice.

I know that Cbeebies is for Neve and not me but I think the new presenters are crap! They seem fake and unable to talk to the children at they're own level.

Oh I am glad someone has this post I had been wondering what had happened to Chris and Poi. Sam hasn't noticed, but I really don't like the new ones. Too OTT - kids aren't stupid.

Every day my wee boy (3) shouts to me 'mum come and see, its the rubbish people again!!!'

We miss Chris singing bedtime song with his wee keyboard and the teddys on the shelf dancing.

Im sure i used to have a life, think i better go look for it!!!!

I've held off posting on this for a few weeks to give them a chance to get better but OMG, they are just sooo fake.

Even my oh who is thai & never watches UK tele has noticed & says he feels pity for children when he watches their (the new presenters) faces lol

And neither of us can understand why Kerry just doesn't cover her arm, why not just let her cardi hang or fold it under. I mean, we get it, she has her arm missing but it really is distracting, sonny keeps running up to the telly & trying to poke the tip of it.. Drawing so much attention to her arm is counterproductive, kids generally don't care or notice that much when someone has something like a missing limb but by drawing attention to it is creating unnecessary attention to a disability that they really wouldn't otherwise register.

All in all, I think they have got a bit better but they are too wooden & their tone is too strained imo.

My son doesnt seem bothered by the change in presenters and doesnt seem bothered at all that one of them has 1 arm. I dont think she should have to cover her arm up because thats who she is and its important for kids to know that some people do have disabilities and they should be treated the same as everyone else.

it is "part" of who she is but it doesn't have to be made into the main thing of interest about her & by having it always on display it makes kids aware of it when they normally wouldn't care. Seems like it is being "presented & displayed" to make a point, just my opinion on it,

I think we will have to agree to disagree on the arm issue.

denise its right that people with disabilities should be on telly but she has it on show the end of it with a little nubin on it and its just not on for the kids she could just cover it.

love hte congo song btw haha my lo loved it : it makes me sad that theyv gone. if u watch that congo song imagine that alex doin it instead of chris he wouldnt have a mark on him! it anoys me n yea i kno its for the kids n not me but we have to bloody sit there and listen/watch it too. they speak to the kids as though they are idiots the things they say i hope they just leave or something an chris an poi come back we shud set up a petition lolllll x

I dont remember Chris and Poi as lo didnt really watch telly then. I agree Cerrie and Alex are dull though!! I don't dislike them, they just don't seem to have any sparkle about them. Cerrie is better than Alex.

I like the other presenters who are mainly on at weekends - the black guy & the curly haired guy (Andy I think?!) They are much funnier!! xx

No thank God. That sounds like our los could be traumatised for life. I don't think I could afford the therapy bills!!!!!

Dont know about them being in therapy, im going to have to make an app today!!!
