Hiya. I had a PPH (Post Partum Haemorredge) after having my 1st and lost 5 pints of blood, had a 4 pint transfusion, and had to go to theatre to have the clots removed to stop bleeding. This was straight after delivering me daughter. I stayed in hospital 2 nights after that, and I too was seriously anemic. I had my son 11 weeks, just 1 year after having my daughter and I needed a canular in during labour so if and when i started to bleed they already have an IV access. I didn't loose any blood at all with him, only the expected amount, had a good labour and delivery and only stayed in because I wanted too due to not being allowed to go home til 1am i didn't think it was fair to take a baby out that late and cold.
xx
