Subject : Does anyone else forget to eat properly?

Hi I just wondered about this, and if I'm the only person who does this?!

I'm always thinking about Max and what he's going to be eating. I make sure he has enough fresh fruit and veg, enough milk, protein etc etc but when I stopped today and thought about my diet , it's terrible!

For instance, Max had weetabix, then a nectarine and half a banana with some juice for his breakfast which is very good. Well done mummy. I had a bowl of shreddies with sugar WhateeeEver! and a cup of coffee. Bad mummy!

We had lunch out so I made Max a cheese and marmite sandwich, carrot sticks, yoghurt, grapes and fruit juice. And I had a sauage roll and a (nother) coffee!
It's really not good but I just don't even think about what I'm, eating, as long as Max is eating properly.
I cook a proper dinner for all of us, like a fish pie or spaghetti or something and we all have the same thing but in the day its not something I really think about!

Does anyone else do this. Pleeeeeease someone eklse say you do this!! Its ok for Max to be eating properly but he'll be watching me and what I'm eating and I think thats why I've got to be a bit better about it!! xxxxxxxxx

I'd say you're not the only one!
I always make sure Lily gets a balanced diet and although me & OH try to eat healthily we do have very bad days! Usually at the weekends when it's bacon sarnies for breakfast and then bingeing out on a takeaway in the evening!

I'm the same..I make a huge effort with angelos diet but mine was probably better pre baby days! I always cook a nice evening meal for me and oh once lo is in bed but during the day I'm not that great and usually forget my fruit. I've recently started to try and share fruit with him as a piece of fruit is usually too big for him, so I get some everytime he does!x
