Subject : sweep/induction

i'm going to my midwife 2day n am gonna beg 4 a sweep or induction!

i'm 39+4 n have spd, i cant get up the stairs anymore, i have 2 go halfway then sit down 4 5 mins then go the rest of the way, i havent slept properly for a good few weeks n dont want 2 be useless when bub arrives, i'm in so much pain n am on crutches for my spd.

Does anyone know if this is a good enough reason or will they tell me 2 grin n bear it??

I developed SPD at 40 weeks and couldn't really walk or roll over in bed. I was still allowed to go to 42 weeks because I had crutches.
Hope you get the result you want

Hi, I was the same as you with SPD and mw was doing homevisits for last 2 wks a sI couldn't move. They gave me 3 sweeps but refused to induce me early. My waters broke with no contractions so they had to induce me in the end but I did go over by 10 days. S x
