hi all i was wondering if anyone could help me. I had what looked like ewcm this afternoon. I have a cbfm and got my 2 peaks last wkend, so would be due af on sunday this week, i am still getting the ewcm, so have just taken an ovulation test that i had spare and it has come back positive! I dont get it! If i got my 2 peaks last saturday and sunday, why would i get a positive on an ov stick now? Did any of you get ewcm just before bfp? abnd/or a + on an ovulation stick??? x

Hi wantalittleone - this could be a sign you've done it this month! The month I fell pregnant I kept getting +ives on ov sticks during the two week wait and couldn't understand why. It turns out that ov hormone is structurally v. similar to preg hormone, so ov sticks can sometimes work as preg tests.

Hi! I had the same thing, and will be 10 weeks on Wednesday! EWCM could be your cervix sealing itself up nicely to keep little one safe and warm. I got +ve on OPK's until I did an HPT and got one there, and EWCM lasted a good few weeks after ov. Fingers crossed for you! xx

No, I didn't get ewcm - but then, I've never had it in my life, anyway.

I did a pg test at 10dpo and got a +ive but it was veeeery faint (even though the +ive ov tests were strong lines) - so it's not over for you yet!

Yeah, the ov sticks seem to be more sensitive to HCG than FR tests are, so I would wait a few days and then test again. Good luck hun!

I only got my BFP on the day AF was due, so I wouldn't be too disheartened yet!

i made sure we bded last night just incase i didnt actual ov when cbfm said i did, and it is happening now!
fingers crossed though i am the same as you girls!

Hehe - don't blame you! I was so confused when I kept getting the +ive ov sticks - my poor hubby was shattered as I didn't want to take any chances and miss the right window!

i have been crafty and havent told my hubby that i got the positive last night as dont want to scare him, he was relieved when the cbfm went back to low! lol! So I just seduced him last night, he might ask questions if i do the same tonight, which i plan on doing! he he! might have to let him know!!
