Subject : Have you all...............
hope you have all fitted your safety devices now or LO's are getting mobile.
I have:
put matress on lowest setting on cot..
removed soft toys, bumper etc from cot so she cant use them to stand on and get out
fitted all elec sockets with covers
put corner covers on sharp corners
fitted safety gates in rooms you dont want them and the stairs top and bottom
moved anything little, reachable and breakable.
talked to boys and older kids about leaving things little and dangerous in her reach
fitted smoke alarms in lots of places (nothing to do with her been mobile but just thought would add it)
bit boring and naggy of me but, just thought would remind you all.... I am the older wiser (well thats up for debate) after all

i need to get some stair gates our stairs are so wide that its hard to fins ones to fit. grahams dad made us some when phoebe was little but we have redecorated since then and have taken the things off the wall they attach to, but i dont think they would be safe with phoebe any way as they dont have a gate to gate through and i have visions of phoebe trying to climb over them and falling down the stairs. i will have to find some to fit soon! x

No, no, no! I stll haven't. I've been finding things quite hard lately. I think I'm exhausted after the shingles and I came down with a really bad stomach bug last night. Spent the whle day spewing and pooing but I'm finally keeping fluids down now.
Please someone else tell me that they're finding motherhood a bit full on right now. I don't know why. I thought things were getting easier all the time but I just feel like I can't cope the last few days. Maybe I'm a bit anxious about returning to work in Jan.
