Subject : Quinny Buzz - opinions please

Hi all
Having just got back from the Baby Show at the NEC I was suprised to find just how heavy some pushchairs are. ( This is probably the most important factor for me as I already suffer a bad back) I am really taken with the Quinny Buzz but wanted to see if any of you have one already - how do you find it? What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages and is anyone aware of any current deals? Thanks v much in advance
Tracey xx

Thanks Bobbysmum, everything is looking favourably on this one so far so I think it's the one we'll got for. I was just a bit worried as there seems to be loads on eBay and I was wondering why so many people are keen to get rid of them!

Hiya, well I took it all apart and it laid flat enough for me to lift it into the boot and flatter than my friends Mothercare one so I guess that's ok. You can also remove all the wheels at a click of a button too.

I think Ruth means does the set lie flat. As far as I know the Buzz does, its the cheaper Zapp that has a fixed seat. Hope this helps. Kerry

i was going to get the buzz but found that the carrycot is a bit bulky and if you were going to go out for the day you would need to take everything i am now going for the jane pushchair with the pro matrix car seat it converts into a carrycot i think that it is important for the baby to lay flat and they shouldn't be in a car seat any longer than 2 hours

Hiya, yes I was looking at that one first of all but I just couldn't lift it without risking serious injury so it was out the window. Don't think I am going to bother with the Carrycot on the Buzz as not sure how often I will use it. Thanks for all your replies guys.. xx

hi i have got a buzz, it is very easy to push and it looks very comfy for baby, my lo is 10 months and loves it. the only downfall i have found is that it is very wide at the back and that causes problems in shops as you cant fit it through the aisle, even worse if the shops are busy. and also a nightmare on public transport to. im selling mine soon as preg with baby no 2 so will have to buy a twim pram. xxx

i have a buzz and i love it. i spent hours looking at prams and have probably looked at eveyrone manufactured. it is easy to maneurve and steer. light folds down easy. we have the carrycot and find it really good. i found that it was bigger than most carrycots. my daughter is a big baby and likes to spread her arms out and she still has plenty of room and we didn't get it until she was 7 weeks and she still has loads of use out of it. it does take up room but only the same as any other carrycot it is how often you think you will use it that counts. the seat does come off and you can put the car seat on the frame aswell which is handy if you are just nipping out. i get loads of comments about how nice it looks. i am very happy with mine,
hope this helps

Buzz was my first choice when i first found out i was pregnant, but when we went to try out all the prams and pushchairs i found it was one of the heaviest and crossed it of my list!
It weights around 14kg so it's definatley not for me + it looks huge in real life!

I've got the Quinny Buzz. I found it to be one of the lightest prams I tried and certainly one of the smallest. I really didn't like the big bulky prams. If they're heavy without a baby in them what will they be like with a baby!! I can't wait to try out my Buzz - the shop we bought it from are storing it for us until baby arrives! xxxx

We just ordered the quinny buzz 4 wheeler. We ordered the carry cot too and have got the car seat. It fits in my car and was easy to put up and down. It's staying at my mum and dad's until baby comes. Can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow so I can go and have a play with it - roll on July! xxxx

Quinny buzz is great! easy to put up and down. didn't use the carrycot much at all except as moses basket during day. Happy And LOVE the fact it can face either towards me or away when Lily decides other things are more interesting to look at!

We've decided to go for the Quinny Buzz 4. Have found a pretty good deal on this website...

http://preciouslittleone.com/

Has anyone used them before? I had been going to order it from Bambino Direct but its a bit cheaper on this site.

Hi, I work in a baby shop and we just got this pushchair in today for display.
Just wondered if you all found it easy to fold? we really struggled with folding it and i'm just wondering if it's because it's new? might just be a bit stiff?!
also, the 2008 models come with a second larger seat so for when baby is bigger so just wanted to find out how long you all used the first seat for?
all comments welcome, it's really helpful to hear feedback for when we're dealing with customers!! thanks

I've got the Buzz and love it. My lo is 2 months old and we use it everyday. It was a bit stiff to start with and my husband seemed to be able to fold it straight away while i took ages but i can do it faster than him now. My sister also has one and her 2 yr old can still fit in it easily. Hope this helps
