hi
have only had 1 section but it was a very bad experience.my stitches came open three times .once after 8 days ,i lost so much blood i needed several blood transfusions and i was black from the waist to the knees bruised and developed 2 infections but rest assured what you are feeling is quite normal .i have since had a vbac and am due my next one today and have had exactly the same fears.these doctors know what they are doing so im sure it will be ok.find me in the nov forum if you need to talk.claire url=http://pregnancy.baby-gaga.com/][/url]

hi tinkerbell,

i've had 3 c/s, and am here to tell the tale, as are many people i have known!!

going thru the same scar isnt a problem, and it will heal. i 've never had any wound infection, and although my scar is still very visible 13 months later, i hardly have a bikini body, so it is the least of my worries!!

really, your c/s shouldnt be any different to your others, and i didnt have a problem with recovery time etc any more than the other 2 - tho' if honest, i was probably better, as i had 2 others to look after too!!

the risks are with a c/s full stop of risk of bleeding etc, but dont worry - unless you have any other problem, it is highly likey you will be fine!!

Hi there, I,ve just had my third section seven weeks ago and all healed well. They actually cut out both my old scars and made a new one so it healed better. The only problem I had with the third is that I took a little longer to get completely mobile and I can't have any more kids.

awww sweety, i know nothing anyone will say will stop you being scared but just remember that you are in the best possible hands.
I have only had one section but i fully intend to have more children and will opt for a section each time-i had a great experience.
After a 40 hour labour i had an emergency section under spinal block i healed really well and was out shopping 2 days later.
If i remember correctly a doctor will speak to you before hand, so any worries and questions you can ask before hand-though i would make a n appointment to see your consultant hon, just so you can hear from him/her ect.
good luck.xxx
