Absolutely definitely. I keep waiting to turn into a one-woman food hoover, but it just isn't happening. I can't remember the last time I felt hungry, and I'm definitely eating smaller portions too. I haven't put any weight on (according to the scales) but I feel a bit chubby and am decidedly into maternity wear since my bump arrived last week. I hope I put on a bit of weight in the next three weeks or I'll get a row from the doc at my next appointment. Ah well, there's always Christmas and my Mum's cooking!

I dont know if this is the reason, but my cousin said when you're pregnant, as the baby grows, it pushes all the stuff that was there before up, which makes your stomach not be able to expand as much, so maybe thats why you're getting full quicker but still peckish later.

oh my god, yes; I used to be a human dustbin like my dad but now I get starving hungry in an instant, so that I feel sick, then can have one bite of something and my stomach goes 'if you eat another bite of that , i'll throw it all back up at you!'
I am so hungry, but I have no appetite whatsoever. And I've gone off everything apart from prawn cocktail crisps, salad and fruit lol.

After the first few weeks of it though, your stomach will shrink anyway, so you may not get back to proper eating for quite a while. I've found I can't stop drinking either. My favourites are water, water, water and about eight cups of tea a day!!
