I am really struggling now to do many day to day tasks! Argh..

I cant put my own socks on without great/huge difficulty!

Getting in/out of the car everyday is really hard, a huge struggle.

Bending is pretty much a no-no now.

Anyone else struggling with anything?

Hi Em

I know how you feel - i am starting to feel like this now altho i wont be as big as you. I only just manage to get my socks on and know it will only be a matter of time!!

Just give in to it hun and let everyone help you - saying that i know how frustrating it is not being able to do things you used to!!

I now have to bend sideways to pick something up as trying to bend down is almost impossible and i find myself starting to topple!
And I find I need to hold onto something to lift myself up as I struggle to do it otherwise-all good fun!

I've only got one baby, but already, I can only just manage to put my socks on; can't reach to cut my toenails; can't see to tend my lady garden; need a crane to get me out of chairs; getting in and out of the bath is impossible; and struggle with driving.

Oh, the joys ,,,,

His words the first time were 'I didn't sign up for this!!'. He does quite a good job though!

I lost sight of the lady garden ages ago!! I can see it using a mirror sat on the edge of the bath tho, and its a good job, I wouldn't want my hb doing it, sorry.

Anyway Its no wonder i cant put my socks on, just back from the midwifes and I measure 32 weeks!!!!!

lol!

I can imagine you are quite a bit bigger than most of us here Emma. That's interesting about your size as I measure 27 wks from the outside so I have a smaller bump than expected cos I am tall.

I can still tie my choes, but tend to bend sideways or lift foot to the side to do it.

Hiya,

I am exactly the same, I struggle to pick things up, infact my office in work has random items which I can't pick up all over the floor LOL! !!

The sock thing is becoming a problem too and OH had to fasten my boots for me the other day as baby decided to stretch herself from the top to the bottom of my tummy! He has even offered to help me with the lady garden but I would rather struggle with a mirror and sitting on the edge of the bath for as long as possible!! LOL!

Isnt pregnancy glamourous! Im struggling with bending down but its more that I get breathless. Ive already put on 1st 5lb so I guess its not surprising. Apart from agony back which is making it really hard at work as I sit at a desk all day, im feel good for a change!

Struggling...

This post really made me giggle.. with regards to the comments about the lady gardens!!!
Mine has just had to get overgrown, lol... I can't see it but didn't think about a mirror and the edge of the bath!
I'm stuggling to get up if I sit on the sofa and get in and out of the car - especially as they're all leather so I just slide!!! Lol...
My catapillar boots are getting a bit of a problem because of the laces (i can only wear these, my trainers and a pair of 'slip on shoes!!) but socks and knickers I'm managing with at the moment...

Bending is beginning to be a bit of a struggle and if I bend to far I nearly puke!?!?!?! It's disgusting!!!

I do think it's funny to an extent though, I feel like a cild one minute and an OAP the next (can't do up shoes or pull myself out of a chair!!! Lol...).... It's just all so new and strange - and they the time I'm used to it, Pip will be here!!!

Aw Em, I do feel for you Honey, I see from your status updates on FB too that you're tired too. Take it as easy as possible, I know you have a supportive hubby to take care of all three of you.

Cant beleive your measurments! Nice healthy babies growing in your tummy.

Sending you best wishes and energy!
