Subject : baby modelling competition

hi is anyone else a bit frustrated at the voting system on this competition. My friends and family are encountering problems voting and following all of the advice given ive still been unable to vote for the last 3 days. there just isnt a voting box coming up when I try- ive cleared caches etc like they suggested but it still wont work. but thinking about it its a really unfair system as It isnt the babies that the agency like the look of that will do well its the babies that have the most friends and family that have internet access and the time to vote. I think this is wrong. you may have the most unusual and photogenic baby but its not going to stand a chance because it dint recieve enough votes- because lets face it unless you know someone who is entering the comp you wont be on here voting for random babies will you.

Completely agree! We took our daughter Isabel along to the show and entered her and despite following all the website instructions the voting box just does not appear on her page most of the time. We have lost loads and loads of votes now, and I know I am biased but she is gorgeous, we get people stopping us in the street to tell us how beautiful she is. So I am gutted that we haven't been able to vote and I see that some people have commented on the top rated babies that they must be cheating for their votes to go up so quickly and I can't help but think they're right, as they appeared out of nowhere at the end of last week with over 400 votes each. So yes it's not fair but I don't know what else to do apart from keep complaining to the webmaster!Confused

I don't enter for these competitions anymore because they're not fair and the winning baby doesn't win because of its looks (the whole point of the competition) but because people get all their friends and family to vote. I've seen some minging babies win these things and all because their parents knew more people who could vote for it! So unfair. The winner should be chosen because of their looks, not nepotistic voting tactics. Sorry to rant but it's so frustrating because if you've got a small family like me, your baby has zero chance of winning. Ok so the judges choose from the final few, but how are you supposed to get to the final unless you get everyone to vote for your child??!
