Hiya I was just wondering how much your wee ones weigh now? Rory was 6 weeks old on Saturday and weighed 10lb 8oz last Wednesday. His birth weight was 7lb 15oz. Getting to be a big boy now and my back is killing because of it!! I have to get him weighed every week too is this the same everywhere? Is anyone else feeling the strain on their back when feeding/ picking them up? It might just be my bad posture lol! Susie x

Hello, My wee one was 10lb 8oz at 5 weeks and was 8lbs 3oz when born. We get her weighed every week too the hv comes to the house for first 6 weeks so this will be the last week. Then they'll weigh her every time she gets a jag. :)

Grace was 7lb 7oz at birth and was 8lb 6oz on friday when she was 25 days old. And yes, I did my back in last weekend and I assume it's cos she's gaining an oz a day!

Hi max weighed 8lb 6 at birth and was 8lb 14 at 2 weeks, then at 3 weeks and 5 days was 10lb8 and then had him weighed yesterday at 4weeks and 2 days and he weighs 10lb14 so he is gaining weight very fast even though he dont feed much lol

The health visitors only weigh her every 4 or 5 weeks, I'd have thought they'd have wanted to weigh her more considering she was low birth weight and in special care. She was never weighed by the midwife either. Good job we are looking after her as the 'professionals' would never spot it if we weren't.
