I had my first Josh at 17, he's now nearly 14yrs and had mc at 20, got pg straight away the following month and had my daughter Jaimee who's now nearly 11yrs and just found out recently that i'm having my 3rd, due July 09! Bit of a gap! Im now nearly 32! And i still get ID sometimes!

My kids love having a younger Mum! We have such a good relationship. They feel that they can come to me and tell me anything, We can have a laugh together and their friends are always saying you're mum's really cool! (nice compliments!).

My children are looking forward to me having another baby, especially my daughter who will be 11 at the time. Nicki

It can be hard work at times but then so can 1 kid at 30. I wouldnt change my situation for the world! I love my boys to bits. xx

I fell pregnant about 2-3 months after my 15 birthday (young I know), unfortunately I miscarried at 19 weeks.

i was 18 when he was concieved and was 19 years 4 months when i had him.
Im now 25 will be 26 on tuesday and i now have three children justin 6 maya 3 and charlie 6 weeks 4days

I am 23 and TTC my first, I just wanted to say that my Mum was 19 when they had my brother then 21 when I was born. We had an amazing childhood, it was so much fun and have some amazing memories and I think it's directly because they were so young. Ignore the looks, people can judge you but they have no idea who you are or even how old you are so sod em! I was a nanny for 3 children under 4 when I was 21 so you can imagine the looks I got, I felt like being really rude but at the end of the day the children were well looked after, polite and happy and thats more than a lot, age means nothing, maturity means everything!!

I was 16+1month when i fell pregnant and still 16 when i had my little boy.
Turned 18 in May and have just had my little girl on 22nd October, not with the babys dad (same dad to both) i dd get some looks but now i get old ladies sayin, oh 2!! that must be hard wokr you must have your hands full.. as if my kids are the worst in britian and they dont even know me!!

I miscarried an unplanned pregnancy when I was 18 and I always wanted kids but not as early as I finally did when I fell pregnant again at 19, I had really bad food poisoning and my pill didn't work. My daughter was a tough bub though and I had her at 20. I looked way younger than I was and that made it hard. I now have Emily 5 and a half and Elijah 4 and we are trying for another one. I think its a good thing as I am 26 now and I can get all my babies out of the way before 30 and then get on with things. My miscarriage really did a mind job on me and I didn't finish College but I have been offered to do a course in councelling next year which will be great.

Hey! I found out i was preg. with my first when i was 16 then i had him when i was 17. He was born Jan. 31st,2007 & 6 months later (still 17) I found out I was preg. with my second & I had him April 4th 2008..I was then 18. =)) I have gotten soo many looks & been on diff. chatrooms and boards & ppl think that young moms are worthless...Which we are def. not! i have a great job, I married the father of my children,we have a great place to live, & im starting college Feb. 25th! YOUNG MOMS ARE AMAZING!!!=))) && to all the girls that think they cant do it...trust me you can!

38 for 5th

I can see things from both sides. I had more energy in my 20's but I did not have much patience. I was envious of friends going out and having a social life while I struggled for babysitters etc. .. We did not have too much money either so there were things I could not get like baby monitors or nice prams/moses baskets etc..
In my 30's I am not as energetic but I have so much more patience. We are also very finacially secure and I can get (within reason) nice things for the kids.
Like anything they both have their pros and cons. However, age, money etc.. count for nothing. Its how you bring them up and most importantly that you love them with all your heart that counts!

i was 22yr when i had my oldest son, 24yr when i had my daughter and had my youngest son at 26yr. I never thought that i was that young a mum but peoples perceptions are all very different! I looked young for my age then (and luckily i still do-not easy with three under 5's!!) so maybe that played a part, i also worked in a night club til i was 7months pregnant which meant lots of funny looks.
I think its funny how others react tho-can remember being in a shop struggling wi the pram trying to get out the door but the shop assisatnt wouldnt help-just stood staring, it was a very chavvy, but polite teenage boy that actually helped!
Anyway its not your age that makes you a good or a bad mum. And it is really hard not to care what people think but so as we all know that we are doing the job properly, then stuff them!

i was 16 when i found out i was pregnant and had her a month before my 17th she was 13 days over due and weighed 7lb 12oz n i wud do it all over again but when you get pregnant young you find out how are your true friends alot of my friends said i should have had a abortion but there was no chance i was gonna kill my own baby xx

i was 16 when i fell pregnant and had Jessica-Louise 3 months after my 17th birthday, she is 5 1/2 months now and i definately dont feel 17 dont really know whether that is good or bad?! i think or rather hoping i will only have the one, pregnancy, labour and bringing up two children terrifies me haha!
