Subject : The drama continues..........also FAO Danni1979

Those of you who have read about my weird pregnancy / chem pg / mc experience over the last week, well there is more!

just to recap last thurs BFP bit of bleeding. Fri morn BFN, Fri aft at docs BFN, was told early mc expect bleeding to start in next couple of days. nothing happened lots of cramps but no bleeding just a bit of brown stuff sorry for the tmi.

Back in docs last wed for bloods for something else spoke with nurse who did another test told me take it with me as sometimes it may take few minutes to come up with a faint line, so did that & yes got faint line, aswell as several faint BFP on my own tests. Rang doc on thurs told me bring in fmu sample & if got +ve she would refer me to EPU, that evening started to bleed like normal AF then sat wham - soooo not like normal AF heavy, clotty & crampy (sorry again) then all of a sudden sunday (yesterday) it all stopped??? just slight spotting now. Last night i ate red meat, & felt sooo sick the whole night, which i always did with my others i could never tolerate red meat, felt sick still this morning so did 2 more tests today both BFP on fmu strongest BFP's yet so off me pops to docs with my fmu sample & sure enough straight away get BFP on her test (the same one which before showed BFN & very faint BFP that took about 5 mins or so to come up.)

Anyway now she sent me home from work & have to go up to EPU on wednesday, she said with the bad bleed on sat she's not hopeful but needs to see what is going on & whether or not i need a D&C.

I'm soooo confused & have gotten all happy again now which i know i shouldnt because i know she's prob right but i cant help thinking well a week ago I got a BFN on her test with a bit of bleeding, on wednesday last week i got faint BFP on her test but after a good few mins, now im getting BFP on her test straight away, so perhaps maybe lil bean is ok? i hate this, its nearly 2 weeks ago now i got my first BFP.

who thinks lil bean is ok & who thinks not? please be honest.

Danni1974 if you're reading this are you still getting your BFP's or have they stopped & if so what are you doing & what has doc told you????

Oh katyjo sorry you are going through this. I don't know whether it sounds good or bad, although if you had lost little bean you would have thought the hormone would be getting weaker not stronger. I never bled at the beginning of my pregnancies but i have spotted with this one and even that slightly worries me so i can understand this must be difficult. Hopefully with a scan you might have some positive results. wishing you loads of luck x

OMG,! I have no advice or knowledge but have everything crossed for you. The hcg must be increasing for her test to have been stronger and quicker but whether that means it is good news I don't know.
Will be thinking about you on wednesday and willing it to be a good outcome.xxxxx

Hi Katyjo - I really am not sure. I have read about people bleeding in pg but everything turned out fine for them. I would hate to comment on your situ hunny.

I am sending you all the luck in the world that your scan (is that what you are having on wed??) shows everything is A OK.

GOOD LUCK xxx

Hiya hun
Wow this sounds soooo stressful for you.
Tbh my doctors havent been helpful at all,as you know i got my first bfp on 25/09 and even though i bled from 27/09 to 01/10 i was still getting bfp until 09/10,my docs couldnt explain it at all espec as all their tests showed bfn,i really know where your at right now as all the docs n nurses who i spoke to were telling me that as my hcg were so low there was no chance i should be getting bfp and possibly i'd concieved later then was thought, which gave me a glimmer of hope so it was abit of a double whammy when i started getting my bfn,s from the 9th,n i am ashamed to say that even up till today i've been poas, just t make sure i suppose.
Also i started bleeding again last night so gotta go to docs again later n see what they say,it kinda feels like i'm having another period, weird huh so soon.
My bfp were getting fainter off and on ,so the fact that yours are getting stronger i personally would have a little bit of hope on that, but try not to hope too much, easier said then done i know but i would hate for you to be so bitterly dissapointed.
Please keep me posted and i will keep everything crossed for you.
good luck hun

Oh my giddy aunt! Poor you! Well, if I were in your shoes, and you have bled but still getting BFP, which is getting stronger not weaker, I would assume you might be alright. Having said that, you have been so up and down lately, if I were you I would try to assume the worst - that way you can only be surprised rather than disappointed!
Time goes so slowly when you are desperate to find out , doesn't it? I always say it is the not knowing that is the worst! Am think of you - be strong. xx

good luck katyjo and danni, and i have said an extra prayer for both of you xxxxxxx

when i had my first natural preg after 2 clomid babies i had 6 bfps but started bleeding with no pain at all, doc sent me grudgingly to epu for a scan, he said all would be fine coz no pain, got there had test done got bfp, had scan and womb was empty baby had gone, bfp gradually got less as hcg lessend but saying that, when i was preg with youngest i had awful pain and cramping and really heavy bleeding and she was fine.

just wanted you to know its not always a bad sign.

hope that hasnt made things worse just being honest x

hugs xxxxxxx

Thanks flush. Doctor sent me home from work she says i'm to rest & do nothing until EPU appointment, but with 3 kids at home i'd be better off at work TBH, OMG how many times can one child say "mammy?" but not actually want anything?!

Hubby has taken them all over to his mums says i cant rest properly when they are hanging out of me, but I feel like a bit of fraud cause i'm not ill.

I am so sorry to hear everything you are going through.

I had a MC earlier this year and the not knowing what is going on is the worst thing ever - you just want answers and nobody can give you them. It's so frustrating.

I know what you mean about getting excited again - even when we were told there was almost no chance our baby was ok, I still held onto that tiny, little bit....just in case. And I think that's perfectly normal.

I really hope everything works out and your little bean is ok. I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you.

Take care, NN xx

Thankyou all for yor kind thoughts and especially mrs rich for her prayers,i do believe in god so thankyou.
Update on me re the bleeding
Just got back from the docs and nw i really am in pain grrrr
i saw a different doc this time and he believes that the reason i was still getting bfp until late last week is that i hadnt fully misscarried? and that the reason i am bleeding and in such pain now is that its the rest ofit coming away, apparantly when me and oh bd'd lst night (first time in bout 3 weeks) i had a helluva lot of pain at my cervix and basiclly doc told me that the rest of the misscarriage had got stuck behind my cervix, hence the pain and bleeding now,it basiclly triggered the rest to come out, told me to come back in 2-3 days if it hasnt stopped, hmmm hes nt the one wh can barely friggin move..
I'm feeling quite annoyed at docs right now cos i'msorry but i truly think they should've investigated a bit further when i was still getting bfp when they were saying theres no way i should!!
Do you know not 1 doctor has even looked internally at me,is that right??

Thanks NN, but after the cramps i've just had for most of the night I dont hold out much hope anymore. Bleeding has completely stopped - for now, but cramps are quite a bit stronger than those on saturday.

thank you for your thoughts hon. xx
