im from the trying for a baby colum but wonder if you could all help me....
im 5days late for my period and tested and got a bfn wondered how long it took before you all got your bfps im never ever this late so im keeping possitive i am
any help would be greatful

I got my bfp the day my period was due, it didnt arrive by 8.30am and i got too excited and got the shock of my life when it was positive, i hope you get you bfp very soon hun! Maybe theres not enough hormone to give you a bfp yet, but surely somethings up if you are 5 days late!
Have you tried another test? Do 2 or 3 lol x

will keep testing have done one in mornings but still a bfn im hoping as it is very unusual that i am so late.......
we have been trying for a while my partner keeps saying your pregnant

My periods were so irregular that i couldnt ever tell if i was "late" or not. I tested about a week after when i thought i should be due - i was trying to wait 10 days but couldnt hold out that long. We had been trying for 20 months and i had done two tests in that time that were both BFN. Finally i got my BFP, it was really strong so there was no doubt. I am glad i waited a week to get a strong result as i dont think i could have handled a faint BFP but not been sure. My daughter is now 10 months old but i can still remember the absolute joy of finding out i was pregnant.

Hi hun, I had this when we 1st started trying, i was 2 weeks late and was getting BFN gp said it is whats knows as a phantom pregnancy. I seemed to think that i had every symptom as well. Cause you want it so much you believe that you are and your body reacts the same. Its like the same with stress sometimes your monthlys can be delayed by that. However i hope it isn't this and that you just have your dates wrong or that you are measuring low hormones. Do you have any symptoms?

I also got a BFN the day before my BFP! I tested 5 days before I was due on.

hi i was 18 days late before my bfp showed up i was testing every day too so good luck dont give up hope yet

hi i got my bfp a week after my period was due, and it was the first test i did. if i was u i wld do another test first thing in the morning and if still bfn and no sign of af then make an appointment to see ur gp

thank you for all your replies i think we all have it differently dont we well ive gone out and bought a few preg tests and will be doing one tomorrow morning;\)
to see if i do get a line

well no af or line other half says wait till thursday as will be well over the week late
not really any symptoms as such i dont think

with my first i was 8 weeks gone before i got my BFP
