Subject : Quinny Buzz
Hi ladies,
I am gatecrashing from Pregnancy forum!
I was just wondering if anyone has the Quinny Buzz pram and what they think of it. Ive been and tested one out and I really loved it, but Ive heard a few reports of them breaking regularly, is this true?
I had a M&P Pliko with my son but I only bought it because it looked nice, and hated it, so im considering this perchase much more carefully!!!!
Thanks in advance.

Hi hun, I have the quinny buzz. I bought it because I loved the look of it and it folded down easily and small enuff for the car.
Mason is 4 months old now and I have to walk his big brother to school every morning up a steep hill and the quinny is rubbish at it!!! The only way I can describe it is like a wonky shopping trolley. Also there is nowhere to hang bags etc on the handle.
I do still like the quinny but wish I had researched a bit more as won't be using the puschair part for Mason, will buy a new pushchair. Hope this helps hun.x x x

In between vet visits this weekend, we did find time to visit Southampton - they have Babies R Us, Mothercare and M&P all within walking distance of each other!
We had a really excellent demonstration on the Quinny Buzz and are totally sold on it. I always knew I wanted it, but tried to talk myself out of it 'cos of the cost, but hubby is all for it - he loves it!!!
We're going for a strawberry one, but not really decided on 3 / 4 wheels.
We also liked the M&P Pilko Pramette but found it quite 'busy' looking and not as simple as the Quinny. We tried the Mothercare My4 - but whilst it was simple looking, it was a bit harder to fold about etc.
We're waiting for the 2009 models to come out (Dec apparantely - thanks Mrs A!!!) and will be buying ours then!

I have a quinny buzz 4 and I was really happy with it until the handle and the opening and closing of it broke. I was stranded in a car park with a pushchair that wouldn't collapse and a screaming baby. It was replaced and now 6 weeks later the same thing has happened again. I have asked for my money back this time as once again I was stuck in a car park with a buggy that wouldn't collapse! The first on lasted about 8 weeks and this one 6 weeks. I have ordered a bugaboo cameleon as I have a maxi cosi car seat and didn't want to replace that too and the car seat will fit on a bugaboo. I really liked my quinny but I couldn't risk it happening again. It's in it box ready to be collected tomorrow, so I am pushchair less until my new one comes later in the week!

Hi,
I bort a quinny buzz with all the accessories and bits n bobs that go with, but i really didnt think about the practicality of it. Its a pain in the arse to fold dwn, it springs up wen u dnt want it to, the front swivvle wheel has a mind of its own and altho it looks great i am currently trying to sell mine coz i also have 2yr old and they dnt do buggy bords that fit the buzz, ahhh. The quinny zapp on the other hand is fab, its for 6months plus (coz it doesnt lie back, thats the only dwnside), but for older babies and toddlers who dnt really sleep when they're in the trolley its fab, nippy, liteweight and folds really small. So quinny do make sum gud trolleys, lol. Gud luck chuck there are loadsa prams out there so just take ur time, test loads and see which one is good value for muny (the buzz isnt) xxx
