I'm already feeling like I'm kinda putting on weight in a bad way!

I'm usually a runner and after the early on very light bleeding on my AF due date was told by the doc to take things easy. So me and hubbie decided running for the next few months is out of the window.

So been looking for stuff a little less strenous and what I can do at home as can't afford a gym membership. Been on the web looking for some DVDs. Have ordered a couple.

So for any one else interested in ways of staying fit. When I've received them will let you know what I think of them.

Hello there,

I am a member of the gym but think i will be using more of the gym pool. Swimming is pretty good all round i think.

There are a few gyms which do baby yoga for pregnant and new mums so maybe that might be worth checking out?

Also just a random one - i have a wii fit and it's ace!

I feel the same,I put on some weight last month anyway, so now would like it to all turn to baby bump instead. like thats gonna happen.lol
We moved not long ago and have alot of work to do in the house and garden, so to be honest instead of training I put the house first.
I must do about 4 hours of digging every other day,Did wonder if I should be. but then I read that you can even weight lift if your used to it, so thought it must be fine. xx

Hi,

I found Davinas DVD very good during my last pregnancy, but mainly i just did loads and loads of walking. I found it helped loads with avoiding cramps in my legs at night time if I walked a lot and as you say helped keep me trim. I got an exercise ball too which was great once I got a bump as I found it comfy to gently bounce on while watching tv.

I tend to go out every day for a good long walk with my lo in his pushchair now which is good arm exercise too!
