Hi K-Lou,
How are you feeling today?
Hmmmm, don't know the area very well, I'm near Guildford in Surrey. If you're ever in the area let me know, otherwise I can give you a few tips/pics over email.
That's me in the profile pic, just a bit of make-up magic

I am feeling really good today thank you :-) Just got your email and I have emailed you back thank you for that hun. You do look stunning, your skin looks great.
My skin is rubbish I know it is what I am eating and i am just at the start of changing that. It always looks grey and dirty almost. No matter how much I exfoliate or scrub it still looks that way.
I have pigmentations on my face which i am very insecure about. I get poeple saying oh you have a bit of dirt on your face and I have to say with a red face no it's just my skin!

I actually have quite bad skin too, the pill I was on up until June helped control it but now have to rely on prescription cream.
So it really is the make up!! I focus on products that give me good skin coverage, colours in the right places and a glowy, dewy finish. It looks really natural but I know it's actually quite a lot of make up. It catches the light beautifully so looks great in pictures. The eye make up and lip glosses I vary depending on where I'm going and how dramatic (or not) I want it to be.
I'll check my email now.

Oh really your skins looks lovely. I need that as well I struggle to get the right foundation that matches my skin, I always end up looking really really pale or my face looks a different colour to my neck?

That's a common problem, most make up counters will help you find the right shade for your skin.
I tend to go for the paler shade in the winter months and darken it up and blend it with powder and bronzer, in the summer months I'll go for a darker one.
Blending is very important or as you say your neck looks a different colour to your face. I carry my foundation down to my neck with a sponge and blend it with powder and or bronzer again including the neck so it matches the face and therefore gives a more natural look.
Emailed you.....

I do find though that most of the girls on the make up counters that i have been to, and i am talking about big names like Mac and so on, they put foundation on me either on my hand which is rubbish as my hand is a different shade to my face , or they put it on me in the shop and the lighting is very different so when i step out in the natural light it looks way too dark for me?

You want to have it tested on your jaw line. I know what you mean about the lighting though.
I don't use a perfect match but by the time I use Bronzer, blusher etc it works. I've emailed the details over...!
