hiya, i had an emergancy with my 1st (just over a year ago) and had an elective with my 2nd 3weeks ago) i would defo say that the elective was so much better and to go for it! no one asked me to decide on my section until i went to see the consultant at 36weeks. they ask you not to decide till then incase you change your mind :)

You wont be expected to decide for definite til around 34 weeks although you will have an appointment with a consultant at around 24 weeks (this is what i had anyway,no doubt it varies). But if you are adamant its what you want then keep mentioning it at midwife appointments etc then they can put it in your notes so your consultant can see you've made up your mind and hopefully respect your choice x
