Thank you so much for your message in 'due in June'.

Sienna was indeed such a special little girl and we are still both so numb and can't get our heads over the whole situation, it doesn't seem real at all at the moment and part of me thinks that it never will.

I was and still am so proud of her including her having Down syndrome, we so wanted the chance to change peoples perceptions of the whole thing and I like to think that in Siennas short life we have managed to change some peoples opinions. She was our baby first, a normal, beautiful, happy little baby and we couldn't care less if she happened to have an extra chromosome.

I hope your special little boy is doing well, be proud of him for everything he does. He truely is a blessing. Thank you so much for your support, I'm only sad that we couldn't keep in touch as both our babies reached their milestones.

If you ever want to chat, you know my email. I wish you and your son all the best.
Diana and an angel kiss to your little one from mine x

Hiya,

Thanks for that - brought a tear to my eye....again! Not as many as I'm sure you've had recently though.

I think you are right in that Sienna started to change people's perceptions - what I have found is that those people that are Mummys totally understand - and are generally very sympathetic. It was just unfortunate that she had to go through what she did for that to happen - but she's out there somewhere now watching over everything... and I bet she is so glad she picked you and Daddy to look after her for the short time she was with us. I'm glad that she brought you so much joy!

Last time we messaged you were still trying to set up an e-mail address I think - so if you now have one I would love to have it and drop you a line every so often... just to see how you are getting on.

Love Sarah & George (now 15lbs 9.5oz and rolling around the floor - going to have to George-proof the house soon!)
