Subject : Cerazette,Yasminelle and Mircette!!

Hi I went on cerazette 8 weeks after having my little girl in April. I was advised it as I was breastfeeding at the time and also because of the 12 hour window(im quite forgetful even when Im not pregnant!)

It has been brilliant in some ways and a total nightmare in others. No sickness or headaches but Ive been on for over a month!Plus my mood swings are awful!

I have always had real trouble with contraception, and have visited many a gynocologist!

Microgynon was great for regulating my periods but made me feel terrible(migraines, sickness)
Mirena Coil caused constant heavy bleeding though it was great not to have to worry about taking a pill!

I can never find a happy medium and its really getting me down. My constant bleeding makes me so tired and Im so moody my boyfriend´s patience is geting a little thin!I have decided to come off Cerazette and was thinking of trying Yasminelle. But I have also heard of a pill called Mircette that is supposed to work wonders if like me you have a thin endometrium(sorry for spelling?!)which causes you to bleed nearly constantly.I really dont fancy the implant or the patch.

Has anyone experienced similar symptoms to me or has tried either Yasminelle or Mircette??x

omg you sound like me! i have also tried the same pills as you have and had the exact same problems. i have been advised not to use anything that contains a hormone so after we have another baby i will be having a copper coil put in as this is reliable and has no hormone. my hubby said i was like living with the devil when i was on cerezzette and i also bled constanly! mirginon 30 was the pill i fell pregnant with my LO on and had constant migraines. i have not been using any pill for over 15 months now and i fell like a different person! i have lost 2 stone, my moods are good and my af's are regular. can you ask your doctor about what your options are? i was told not to have the injection as its the same hormone as they use in the cerezzette pill.
hope you sort something out x
