Hi there i am very similar to yourself although started slightly later as i am 31 at the moment and getting my 2nd one in before 32. Married just over 2 years to this guy, married before but didn't work and no kids there but this relationship super, glad i waited to have kids with the right one.
Have girl nearly 18 months and now 26 weeks with a boy so there will be 20 or 21 months in it with them. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately because of holidays i am in the Due Dec section 28th so around xmas day i will awaiting a hospital trip not a visit from santa this year.
Next year will be interesting.
Good luck with the pregnancy and hope you are managing with the tiredness factor too.

Blimey mms i take my hat off to you. My mom was single when me and my sis were becoming teenagers and i am sure coped overall but wasn't that easy and you with 5 now and WOW twins will just complete the family off i guess. I am sure you will love them all just getting some help now and then will be nice. Do you have family around to help out with new arrivals. I was just thinking i might not cope with a 2nd but i think i can put it in perspective now.
Also for anyne interested i had APH with first baby so they broke my waters as i had gone into labour 5 hours of fast coming labour and then feotal distress so ventouse delivery as there was true knot in cord we saw afterwards. We are one pair of lucky parents with a good fast acting hospital staff. Will be off to the same place next time assuming i get time to get there! I think its more the recovery after for me that was tiring but am a little more clued up this time and know it will take time to adjust.
Also getting the living room decorated it has taken over 2 years but will be done before this baby i am sure.

Hi, i dont feel so stressed after reading about mms. At least some of your kids are old enough to help you out. My name is Mel , i have two boys Jerry and Jem . Jerry is nearly 7 and Jem is 6 months. Im on maternity leave still and im still not sure if i want to return to my job. My boyfriend has started working away most of the week and with the hours i did at work the kids would never see us. My mother in law was going to look after Jem but as the months have gone on its getting quite clear that she would struggle to look after him for 10 hours a day 5 days a week. I would still need to work but maybe closer to home and not so many hours. Mel xxx

Hi,

I'm 32, and my hubby is 31. We've been married for 3 years, but together for nearly 13 (we met at uni).

We have an 18 month old son, and I'm 24 weeks pregnant with our second son- I'm going to be overrun by men!! LOL!

I'm the only person I know having a second child at the mo, so I feel a bit out on a limb.

We don't have any family living nearby, so I've just started putting our son in nursery on Wednesdays to give me a break, and so I can spend some one-to-one time with the baby when he comes. Also, I felt it'd be good for our little chap to be able to have the different experience. He started last week, and enjoyed himself, so that's a big relief.

Good one niblet when i went back to work i put my daughter in nursery for 2 full days a week at 9 mths and now she is 18mths and still loves it there. Also as long as we can afford it i shall keep it up whilst on leave for this baby so i can get some rest she can enjoy the running about there painting etc and i can get 2 days with new baby myself. I think its great, family help is ok but they need other kids around to enjoy it the most.
Good luck with new baby when it arrives, i thnik you are on the dec forum like me all due around xmas.

Thanks Hannah!

When I picked my little charmer up today he'd had so much fun he hardly gave me a glance and cried when I took him away from all the toys!! WhateeeEver! LOL! Ah well, at least I know he enjoys it. I agree, I think it's lovely for them to have other kids around.

I am due v close to you, but on 14th Jan so I'm on the Jan forum. He might surprise me I guess and come early though! I hope we both manage to have Christmas before they make an appearance- lets hope they don't want to upstage the turkey!!

Hi im Lindsay. Had my first child at 17. Best thing that could of happened. Was in an abusive relationship and it made me put an end to it. That was 9 years ago and im now 5wks with my 2nd to a loving and caring man.
I am over the moon as only started trying 2 months ago. The one thing that will take me a lot of getting used to is sharing a child with someone. Splitting the decisions, love, cuddles etc. I keep thinking of this baby as mine and mine only. I dont mean to do it, just habit after a long time on my own.
Good luck to everyone xx

I'm Liz, 27 and married to Wooly, 28. We have a 14.5 month old son called Spencer.
We've recently decided to TTC #2 and this was supposed to be our 1st month but hubby has come down with a cold so doesn't feel like BDing, first time for everything!LOL. I think we've missed our window this month so we'll move onto month 2.

I do worry a little about how I'll cope with 2 kids, especially as Spencer will be ready to potty train at about the same time as #2 arrives (if I fall pg quickly).

There are names in this forum that I don't know so I look forward to chatting x

Hi,

I am Louise, married to Gareth and we have Ollie who is 13 months and a little girl due in 3 weeks.

I am 36 and my hubby is 37 and we were told after a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that we would struggle to conceive naturally so we are delighted that we have our little boy and girl on the way.

Hi all,

I'm, Marnie, I'm 33 and have been married to Clive for 7 and a half years. Thomas has just turned 5, and I'm nearly 21 weeks pregnant with no. 2, which everyone thinks is going to be a girl, but only 2 days till the scan!!

I've been unemployed for the last 3 months which has been hard but not as terrible as we thought. I'm just completing my training as a childminder so will hopefully get some money soon, and then I can start shopping, which I've really missed!!!! Smile
