well its a bit of a strange one but dont know what to do i went back to work in jan my son is now 15 months old my childminder has just given me a months notice she was someone i know and it was great as i only paid for what i used now im going to have to get a proper contract and its going to cost me lots more i dont know where to start!!!!!! its just to expensive and i dont know what to do its a nightmere and lukes going to get so confussed im worried about him to i hope settles again X

hi i used to be a childminder...is ur childminder in a childminding group?if she is ur son might be used to being around other childminder/s and may settle better with one in the same group ?

as for cost, if you are entitled to hild tax cred, they pay up to 80% of it for you.

we sometimes wonder if theres any point in me going back to work, after childcare costs for 2 kids.
