Hello girlies, hope you all had a nice weekend and bumps and beans are doing well!! Just wanted to express my excitement! I have my booking tonight! I am really excited! Can anyone tell me what happens during a booking. Mine is with my GP and didn't know if that was normal or not. I've had to wait ages for the appointment!

erm well I had mine with my MW & She basically went through all the paperwork ie medical & family history etc

not sure if your GP will do all that or check you over (blood pressure etc) and refer you to the MW for the paperwork?

They wont do any checks yet.. its quite dissapointing lol!!! I saw a gp at 6 weeks who refered me to a midwife at 12 weeks, thats when i had my scan, bloods and booking in. x x x

Yeah i get the feeling its not gonna be what i'm hoping to be but i guess that they will tell me my due date and will tell me some information. I have the pleasure of my friend being a midwife so i have some inside information hehe!

Hello girlies....just came back from my booking and all is good! I am 6+3 so my little callender was spot on! So if you wanna check your dates check it out .... www.askbaby.com its in the top right hand corner..it was spot on for me!
