Has anybody used OV Sticks and just got a neg the whole time?? I have EWCM and ov pains but still no pos on my OV sticks?

I was just wondering if anybody else out there knows they are oving but always gets a neg on the ov tests?

im doing my first ov test on tuesday,are you supposed to do one every day??xx

ive got in the habit of everyday. Not getting down about it.......nature has its reasons.............but as soon as i get one everyone will know hehe

Yeah you do one every day I am going to start doing two a day if I remember so that I do not miss it though I am pretty sure I am oving or going to and they are still not working for me

i have the ebay cheapies and when af was late and i was on 50+ days last month and all pg test were negative i had pains, i was sick of getting bfn's so thought i wonder what would happen it i used an ov stick....just for the sake of it really and i got a really dark positive...really weird so they do work btu suppose everyne is different.

hope i get one soon this month x

Me! Didn't do them religiously though. But never got a positive. Your suge might be tomorrow? Could be having the pain and ewcm, as you are ABOUT to ov. xx

K-lou is use them and didnt get a + until day 17 this month. I have a 26 to 28 day cycle and on day 27 - 28 tomorrow.

Hi, I used them and never ever got a positive and I used to do them pretty much every day of the month as I had such random cycles I would never have been able to guess when I was ov'ing.

And even with them all being negative I am now 10 weeks pregnant (in fact the only time I got a positive on them was when I was pg) so dont be disheartened.

I used them for the first time properly this month and got a dark line on cd17 (but not as dark as control line) then next day feint line and next day nothing so assumed ov happened on cd18 when I had the very feint line as darker line was prob the serge.
keep going with them but dont be disheartned if nothing shows as plenty of people get pg without :-)!

Ive even been thinking to ring the doctors and ask for tests now as its so obvious im "broken" and need help!
I had ewcm on friday and sunday, been having ov pains and not got anything on ov sticks!

Lst week i did get a second line up, but it was not as dark as the control line, so I take that as a negaitivbe?

Me! I must have ovulated because I'm pregnant but only started getting the second line when the test was picking up the pg hormone and not LH.

I got one day with a tiny nearly there second line then nothing. But I must have ovulated around then, I think.

Don't give up hope - just because there's no positive does not mean you're not ovulating. And my doctor was v dismissive of them - he says they are too inaccurate and a blood test is the only way to know.

Hi girls thank you all very much for your feedback.

I don;t feel too stressed about it to be honest my temp went down this morning so i am pretty sure i have no ov yet. I have not had any more OV pains this morning and cm just lookd very wet so I am thinking today is thed day i could if OV's but really will need to see what my temp is tomorrow morning.

I think sometimes those things pick it up and sometimes they don;t. I wanted to give thema try this month but I am not sure I will carry on with them. I might just keep tracking my cm and temp and see what happens.

It's a pain though that I ov so early as I don;t stop bleeding till about CD7 and that only leave me a few days to actually bd you know.

I nearly gave up on the sticks this month as was getting nothing then cd17 a line appreared..... x

I am on CD11 of a 28 day cycle. I have EWCM though? I had this last month I was menat to be on a 31 day cycle but ended up having EWCM on CD8, 9 and 10. When looking at my temps it showed I ov'd on CD11.

I had pains this weekend OV pains and also EWCM so i am pretty sure i am oving or about to.

oh ok...all the signs are there then!! I get ewcm too but for about a week which is why started to use the sticks as had no idea when it that week ov happened....cd17 for me much later than expected.
do u know how sensitive the sticks are ur using? if i need them again next month am going to get more sensetive ones (15 not 30). also maybe use twice a day?
saying all this as u take temp and are great at knowing what ur ewcm is up to maybe u dont need them....?
