Subject : Bleeding Again!! I dont get it!
I am totally bemused by whats going on with my body today!
I came on with af on Thurs and it lasted it's usual 2 days, no blood yesterday (Sat). But today after lunch at my parents I started getting sharp cramps again and I went to the loo and I was bleeding (TMI) dark red blood with dark clots (my af was pinkish red with some mucus), I was upstairs booking a weekend to London for me and Mum, so I shouted dh upstairs in tears and shaking like a leaf and he didnt believe me so I showed him and he was like 'oh my God' and I thought I might be miscarrying - if Thurs was implantation bleed on a short luteal phase. I was soooo scared - I dont really know whats going on for sure!! So cos I was crying and shaking we said a hasty goodbye to parents (I tried to calm down) and we left. I think I'll have to appologise though as we left pretty quickly - they'll be confused and might think it's something they did. I wish I could tell them (well Mum really).
Has this happened to anyone else?
dh thinks it's my cycles 'getting back to normal' and I said 'what after 19 months?' and he said 'yeah but it took you 17 months to start ovulating!!' - Hopefully he has a point

Aww popsicle, sorry to hear your body is playing tricks on you. I think I would be inclined to agree with your husband that your cycles are still settling down, especially since you've only just started ovulating. My guess would be that all your bleeding this week has been AF, just in 2 stages. I would say wait a bit and see if you ov again at the expected time. If not, then maybe you can go and see your gp - maybe they'll be able to shed some light on it for you, or at least reassure you.
Have any other ladies here had a similar experience?

Aww thanks - it's hard to think with a clear head when things have been going far from smoothly!! I can't believe how irrational you can get!!

Hi hope you are feeling a little bit better now. It may just be your cycles getting back to normal a bit more but if you are worried then maybe see your GP and see what they think? xxx

tbh I think I probably overeacted a little! Sorry girls I think things are just getting on top of me again. I do think it's just my cycles playing tricks on me, it's just never happened to me before, but Im feeling much much better now. My Dad was okay with me leaving early when I spoke to him as well so thats good.
Ive got my MRI scan at 8am tomorrow morning, so Ive got that to do before going in to work. dh got the day off to come and keep me company, he's been looking after me all afternoon bless him!!
Thanks girls for your messages - you helped me realise I was being just a little paranoid!!

I had a mega period like that this month, and I've never had one that heavy before. I have been off the pill since late last year, and this was the first one I've ever had in my life like that - made me feel rotten. Hopefully it was just the same as you.
