Hi Girls

Since last night i have had a strange heavy feeling down below and my bump feels heavy too, its a strange feeling. I cant find babies heartbeat 2day and not felt any movements since fri either, should i be worried? I know im prob just being daft and sound off my head but i was gettin used to hearing and feeling baby everyday and it upsets me not to 2day! Is the heavy feelings normal? and do u think baby has just moved to a bit i can hear/feel today? x

i think you should ring your mw. you should feel them move at least ten times a day. just get checked out to be on the safe side. it will also put your mind at rest. Sara 38+5 xx

Hi again... ive just had my doppler on again, im 80% sure i heard the heartbeat this time, but its alot fainter than usual, and im sure i felt a little movement after i was prodding around. Ive just realised that i dont often feel it thru day and more in the evening so maybe in the next few hours it may do its usual mad turn lol (hopefully). Does anyone know what the heavy feelin could be?

Hey hun

First of all movements shouldnt be monitored until your at least 24 weeks as the baby can move and you might not even feel it at your stage so please do not panic!!! My baby has very very quiet days... she didnt move all day yesterday and then went mad at about 10pm and didnt go back to sleep (hence me having no sleep last night lol)

As for the monitor thing baby might just be laid awkward! Please dont panic but ring you midwife or contact A&E and see what they have to say?

But like i said dont panic, your only 19 weeks and baby can be hiding in there and may just be sleepy!! x x x x

Forgot to say aswell.... have a hot bath (not too hot!) a fizzy and very cold drink and go and lay down for half hour, that should get baby moving!! But remember hun i didnt even feel flutters till 24 weeks LOL!

Not sure what the heavy feeling is.. i have a heavy feeling now but its too early for your baby to be engaged, maybe baby is all snuggled up low down? x x x

Please don't worry. As Katie said my midwife told me not to monitor baby movements until 24 or 25wks are they are still small enough to get into a position you can't feel.

I've been feeling movements since 14wks but its only been the last couple of weeks that they are getting regular.

I've also read your post about spd and don't think it sounds like spd or that its linked to this.

Baby is probably just hiding today.

If you are worried, then call your midwife and see what she says.

xx
