Subject : Breast Feed Or Bottle Feed?
Hi,
My baby is due in 20days and i'm not sure weather to breast feed or bottle feed?
Any idea's... i've heard a lot about the benefits of breastfeeding, Also some down siders as you wake up early hours in the morning and the last thing you want to do is breastfeed, but there is also a solution for that *breast pump*. Can you do both?? .
Also While been pregnant i've gone from a bra size C to DD.. And i'm fond of them, Does breast feeding make them smaller??
Best of luck with all mothers to be!!

Well with regards to BF'ing making your boobs go smaller - my mums boobs never went smaller, my sisters haven't & neither have mine...I only went up one dress size (10 - 12) in my first pregnancy but went from a 34A to a 34DD bra size (nearly an E cup), after finishing BF'ing my boobs went slightly down to a C cup (but depends on make of bra) & now preggars again they have just ballooned up to a 34/36DD - I look like a 'wench'! hubby loves em!
It totally depends on your genetics in my opinion, I've know people who haven't BF & the shock of the milk coming in & then not being used has left their breasts empty & saggy looking. Just make sure you wear really supportive bras & keep your fingers crossed)
As for other pluses on BF'ng check out the other posts on this forum - one titled pros & cons as I put my pros on that.

Wow!!..
I was a size 10 and now i'm a size 12 so i havent really gone up that much, my bump isn't really big compared to some of the people's bumps i've seen, i'm not carrying much water just baby.
I don't know anyone who brestfeeds so i was just curious.
Haha... Yeah my partner loves mine too!...
I've seen pics of what can happen though if you brestfeed which does put me off a tiny little bit..
Thankyou & Good luck in your motherhood.

hi there,im bf and my boobs have gone up to a g cup!!so not smaller at all!also as respect to what you said about how breasts can look after bf,id put my body 2nd best anyday for all the benefits bf has for baby and also the close bond it creates.Your breasts will sag with pregnancy and age anyway its nature!as for wakin early because of bf my daughter sleeps through the night till 7am has a feed n then goes back asleep, something my oldest daughter(formula fed) never did!I find bf alot more convenient than bottle feeding as theres no bottles to sterilise, warm up etc.Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and with whatever you decide to do hanna n baby grace xxx

You could give it a go and see if it works for you, mine went smaller after i bf my 3 year old but after finished feeding Isaac they went to a dd cup (prev b-c cup and ff when feeding) With regard to the issue of waking early morning I have bf and bottle fed and have to say bf is sooooo much easier in the wee small hours, you dont need to get out of bed, just lift your baby into bed and feed them then put them back, with bottle feeding you need to make up the bottle, warm it up all whilst your baby is crying for a feed.

I'll second that one - the middle of the night feeds are just sooo much easier breastfeeding (I've done both ff and bf so do really notice the difference!). Now it's established, I stick him on while I'm laying down (took a while to master mind) and he's done in 10 minutes and he just flops off on to his back when he's finished!
Also if you're out and about longer than you thought you'd be - it's no bother cos your milk is always there, no need for bottles, formula - aaaahh bliss - really badly wish I'd bf the others!
Good luckxx
