Iv always called my parents' parents nanny/nan and grandad and my kids do the same to our parents. Im from London and have moved up to Notts where alot of the kids call their nans Mamar. What do u and ur kids call ur Grandparents?

bar bar (one of her grandchildren coupld say grandma and said bar bar and it stuck)

My dad and step mum are called Nana and Pops.

My mum is called nothing as she hasn't bothered with me or my children for years!!!

We asked them what they wanted to be called when Charlotte was born.

Grandparents are nan and grandad
great grandparents are great nan and pops (just to take the piss out my grandad, he hates it!)

We have 2 grandas, a nanny & a granny who usually gets called 'granny down the road' by Amy !!!!!!

Hubbies parents are Nanna & Grandad.

My dad is Dada. My mum (no longer with us ) probably would have been called Mama as we called her mum that.

My mum and dad are gran and grandad. My oh mum and stepdad and granny and grand pa pa. My oh real dad is grandad fatboy (don't ask) my oh other step dad is granpy and my oh nan is called nan nan. Such a complicated family. Lol x

Grandad & granny annie - which is my dad and step mum, just call her that to take the piss really. They live in Ireland and haven't met Ashton yet and at this rate never will.
Ashton also has oh's Dad who lives about an hour away and met Ashton a couple of weeks ago and just nodded and said oh yeah when we introduced Ashton to him! Therefore him & his partner don't deserve titles!

I only have the 1 grandparent and she is grandma. OH grandparents (both sets) are Nan & Grandad.

Both my dad and my OH dad are Grandad (to Gabriel!), OH mum is Nanny, and my mum is Jenni (her name lol) as she never wants to be called nan or grandma lol!

Ah this was a nightmare as none of them could decide what they wanted to be called for a looooong time!

OH's mum and dad are Nana Chubbs (its supposed to be ironic as she's skinny... don't ask) and Grandad
And theres my grandparents - great-grandma and great-grandpa
OHs Grandad is just great Grandad, his wife is Jan (she;s a bit scary to call step gran!) and OHs gran who is Great gran.

My mum and her partner are Nanny and Grandad, dh's parents are Nanny and Pappy. (dh called his grandad Pappy, or 'Paps', he was welsh)

My Dad is not called anything as he has not met her and wont as he wouldn't come to my wedding!

Well we have x2 nannys and x2 grandads cos neither of the nan's wanted to be granny or grandma!

We also have x1 great nana and x1 great grandad but they will probably end up being called nan and grandad.

And we have a great great gran (my great gran) but she lives away from us so joshua probably wont have to struggle to say that as he wont see her much!

Its a bloody nightmare when one doesnt want to be called something and nor does the other so Joshua will have to get used to have 2 nans and 2 grandads! xxx

You'll laugh now but when my son was little (( he's now 11)) for some strange reason ((we neve found out why)) he used to call my mum nannie custard and my oh mum other nan.We are trying to change them now but it just seems to stick lol

My parents will be nanny and grandad pikey or smith (the pikey bit stuck with my 1st nephew, cant remember for why now).

and o/h are grandma and grandad

My mum is grandma, my dad and stepmum are (or will be, as we have only just started talking again!) grandad and nana Pat. Oh's dad and stepmum are nan and grandad. For some reason my mum didn't want to be a nana or nanny!

hi i know what you mean, i'm from sheffield but my oh is from mansfield and all the kids call grandma- mamar, great grannies - nannar and grandads and great garndads - dar.
so confusing. my kids call my mum and dad granny and grandad.

My mum was Granny but sadly passed away 1 month ago but we still call her that to Kara to keep her memory alive. My dad is Granda.

Husband's mum is Nana and Dad is Granda. I also have my two sets of Grandparents so they are both known as great granny and great granda. I will just use their surnames to distinguish them when she is older and starts talking and calling them.

My mum is gran, granny, grandma my dad is grandad

My mil is Nan and my fil is grandad although my oh wants him to be called pops which is fine by me as then my lo won't get confused!!
