I'm am SO angry right now i just had to write all this down, we got on the bus after work tonight & there was a drunk (at 6pm?) man sitting in the fold down seats in the wheelchair bit. He quite obviously wasn't going to move so i squeezed the buggy in next to him anyway & ollie (who's 4) went to sit in the seat next to him when he said to him "i'll eat your head if you sit there!" he wasnt smiling so ollie looked at me quite scared & i told him to sit somewhere else. So then the guy starts talking to..

Jake who's in the buggy (he's 2) &he had his foot resting on the mans leg (there really wasn't much room) & the guy told him he'd PUNCH him if he didnt leave him alone!! I just moved the buggy along as far as i could without looking at him then he starts saying to jake "your mum's ignorant you dont want a mum like that, you'll grow up to hate her, she's miserable she wont smile at me" this went on for a few mins & i could feel myself getting hot & my blood boiling so i suddenly shouted "i'm not gonna ...

Smile at someone who scares my son & tells my baby he will punch him!" he started telling me i was rude & he was only joking with my son & i DIDNT KNOW MY SON because he had been enjoying the conversation!! Yeah coz, luckily, he didnt have a clue what the bloke was going on about! He even said f*****g in front of him at one point! I was so mad! He got off at my stop so we stayed on til the next one to avoid him! The bus was packed too & no one said anything! Anyway i'm calm now, feeling much better thanks!x

i think you deserve a nice big glass of wine! i hope you have a nice relaxing evening and your kids aren't too traumatised. shame you had to walk extra after he got off at your stop too. stupid old bugger.

Thank you. No one said a word! As we got off ollie asked what the man was talking about and i just said "rubbish" to which someone behind us laughed but that was the only time anyone acknowledged it! The kids are fine, tucked up in bed now! I don't have any wine though but lots of chocolate :-)

oh yeah - chocolate is good too!! its quite scary when its a bloke who's drunk - especially one who's so obviously aggressive - i expect most people were too scared in case it made him worse.
well lets hope he was lost and not moved in to anywhere near you live - you'd have to start getting a different bus!

I would of told him not to talk to me or my children and if he started a scene i would of told the bus driver to ring the police. I HATE people like that and as for every1 else on the bus they should be ashamed of theirselves!!

what an arse, people can be soooo rude at times. We were in John Lewis on Thursday and my 3 year old needed the toilet so I took her upstairs and it was busy so we were walking quite slowly behind a few other people when this old lady barged Alice out of the way and as she did so the ladies handbag hit Alice in the face, I was about to say something when Alice piped up "Mummy that lady there, barged past me and hit me with her bag, she is very rude isnt she" the lady looked round and smiled at her and Alice said dont you smile at me if youre not going to say sorry. I nearly wet my self laughing this lady looked so humiliated as everyone heard but she sitll didnt apologise.
