Subject : Braxton Hicks??

Morning all!

Has anyone had Braxton Hicks yet? I'm not sure if I am or not?! My bump keeps going really tight and feels like its pushing out, its not painful just uncomfortable and I'm not sure if its just because I can't stop eating! I only have 8 weeks left so I guess its feasable?!

Hope everyones feeling well...xxx

Fleeps mine sound the same so maybe it is?! I would like to believe that as they are not painful I will have a pain free labour - ha ha

I just told a couple people at work and I think they are now scared I'm going to have the baby in the next half hour LOL!

Im 31 weeks and been getting them for about the last 5 weeks. Sometimes painful but just breath through it. Does feel like they are both pushing out at the same time and goes hard and funny shape.

31 weeks pregnant with ID twins and mum to Luke 13 months

Def BH's - hardening or tightening across ur tummy, can take ur breath away but shouldn't be extremely painful, just uncomfortable. Best thing to do is breathe fairly deeply thru them and relax as much as u can while they're doing (if poss).

I'm 29 wks today and have been getting them for about 5-6 wks now. They actually start during the 1st trimester but are very mild at that point so u are unaware of them. Several people can feel them starting up more during the latter part of the 2nd trimester but shud be quite a regular occurrence during the 3rd trimester as ur body prepares for birth. The hardest bit will be determining in those last cpl of wks whether ur still getting BH's or real contractions!!!

Oh is that what they are!? I've been getting a hard tummy and a different shape for a few minutes but thought it was the baby putting a leg out or something..... never found them painful, so didnt occur to me they might be BH Happy

When I get a leg or arm into my ribs, that is painful so maybe I am getting BH??? Confused
