HI little one is 7 months and weaning. I give him 2 bottles in the day and up until now breastfed him first thing in morning and before bed. I start work again this wee, and him nursery so have been cutting down bfeeding for a month or so now. NAyhow, lo is losing interest in breast and for last few mornings doesnt seem to even want any though loves his (solids) breakfast an hour later. The same after his bath - he is probably just using me as a dummy to fall asleep. Know it sounds silly but I was hoping to carry on with these 2 feeds for as long as poss or until he was about a year old. Anyone else felt sad about stopping breastfeeding?

Firstly WELL DONE for bf that long. I only managed just over a week with tyler as I have 2 toddlers and it was all getting a bit too much for me.

I felt like a right failure when i put him on formula and when my milk dried up I cried, so ur not alonein feeling sad. Again well done for bf for 7 months.
